Grow longer legs.
Product is good quality. A bit heavier for summer than I expected. Waist fits okay, Very very long!!!I am 5’6 and am walking on the hems. Could wear them with boots and still hit the ground great.Other than the length, I think the size was pretty accurate.

Beware – Legs are way too long for a petite
The 22P were too big and way too long had to cut off 5 inches. Ordered some 20P. Fit was good, but the leg length was the same as the 22P! Expected them to be 2 inches shorter.Absolutely no mention of the leg length on the website! Good quality material, feel strong. Good stretch waist band. Have pockets.If you are around 5’6″ to 5’8″ these may be a good choice. If you are petite plan on a major leg alteration.

Odd fit
The fabric had very little (if no) stretch. The length was way too long. Sizing off, suited for someone tall with no tummy.

Not Exactly the Old Chic Jeans, but Close
The fabric seems a bit thinner than the old Chic elastic waste jeans I used to purchase at K-Mart, and they are snugger than the originals, but otherwise, they are nice jeans. The old jeans, I used to have to get them a full size smaller than my usual size or they were baggy. These seem to be truer to size. They are VERY long, though. I roll over the bottoms twice to make cuffs, shortening them by probably 3″, and they’re still not “petite,” but I can always shorten them. I would estimate that the petite would only fit someone about 5′ 4″ or 5″ tall. That’s not petite. That’s average. I wish someone would make jeans that fit someone 5′ tall!

Chic Jeans
I used to be able to buy these at Kmart. Wellβ¦Kmart ceased operations and I was left without. Yay! Found them on Amazon! They are the same waistband and length (long for my 5β10β frame.). Will buy more in the future.

Way too long for βaverageβ length jeans – inseam is 32β!
I have never before had to shorten any βaverageβ length jeans I have purchased – length/inseam was always perfect. My 5β4β height has not changed. But the inseam on the 26W/Plus Average Chic Original Stonewash (darker) jeans Iβve just received is ridiculously long – the inseam is 32β! Debating on returning them or spending more $ on them to have them hemmed to correct inseam. Except for the absurd length of the jeans, the jeans are otherwise ok and would meet my casual wear needs.

Be sure to size up!
I normally wear a size 22 and checked my other jeans that fit me well first before ordering and they are also 22. Past experience told me to size up so I ordered a 24. I got a 24 but they fit more like 18. I know because I tried in my 18s that donβt fit anymore and they fit the same. Thatβs 4 sizes too small! They were way to tight on my waist and my thoughts once I actually got them up with a great amount of effort.

Good fit just too long.
I have wore this type of pants all my life, as a teacher I wore them every day so I felt comfortable ordering two pairs. This time I thought I forgot to order petite, but I checked the label and I ordered petite. I just had to shorten these pants 3 inches so they wouldn’t drag on the ground. The pants are fine except for the length so if you know how to hem pants go ahead and buy these, but if you don’t try another brand.

Not all colors are made of stretchable denim
I have bought three colors of these pants and the mid blue denim and black are made of stretchable denim or twill and I LOVE them. However this most recent purchase (from the same page that shows the other colors) is made from regular denim and has no stretch. Out of the five or so colors shown only two have spandex listed and the others are 100% cotton. I’m sure the 100% cotton pants are nice but they aren’t what was advertised or what I wanted.

Gonna take the black pants up 2 inchesCut is slimmer than the Denim ( sweat pants/capris tend to fit different in the black, smokey gray and gray it seems (jms, hanes,chic, woman within, Blair etc) it’s not just this brand I have found.

The sizing, length and cut of these jeans were fine. The fabric was nice but had no stretch whatsoever, which made these very uncomfortable to sit or bend while wearing. Iβm returning them unfortunately.

Nice pants but fit is off on some of the pants
Nice pants but really large for the size they say they are. I bought petite but they are really really long. Nice quality pants but I donβt think I can wear them.Update: Sept 2023β¦This is the third pair I have tried to order and in this lighter denim color none have fit as a petiteβ¦too long in the legs, too long in the crotch and very narrow in the waist.The other colors have been fine. Itβs just this lighter denim that hasnβt been right

UPDATE, one year later. Regular fits better
I purchased the 18 Women’s (Misses/Regular) Average Length & the 18 Women’s PLUS Average Length. I prefer the PLUS because the backside is not as snug on the PLUS. The Women’s (misses/regular) is snug but not tight. My backside is medium sized – & kind of flat. Some people might prefer the backside to have a snuggier fit – I prefer more room. I’m 5 feet 9 inch & the length is OK for me but a tad bit long –the hem touched the bottom of my heel. Because of my body build, there seems to be a lot of pant on the 18 Plus sides (baggy), but the waist fits comfortable (brand new). Not sure how well the elastic waist will last over time. Would have preferred wider waist band – but it’s OK. Because of the price, I plan on buying more for everyday wear.Note: after wearing the 18 Regular for one day, it’s a toss up between the Women’s 18 Regular & the Women’s Plus.The Women’s 18 Regular doesn’t have the baggy look / wear as the 18 Plus does . The Women’s 18 Regular looks better when wearing (except for the snug backside). The Women’s 18 PLUS is a little more comfortable because of the looser fit but looks baggy when wearing. I purchased 3 Regular & 4 Plus. These are for every day at home wear – not for dressy wear. The main test will be how well they hold up after long term use.UPDATE: the 18 Plus is too baggy in the butt & in the legs. the 18 Regular fits me perfect. Iβm tall & the pant length is perfect for me. The pant length might or might not be a little bit too long for people under 5β8β. Because of the fit & because of the price & because of the comfort, the 18 Regular is my favorite jeans.

If you are tall & have a tramp stamp, maybe… The style changed from the original.
I ordered these based on the part number on the tag of my favorite pair of jeans.When I put this new pair on I expected them to feel new, to lack that worn in relaxed feeling, but that wasnβt the problem.These are several inches too long and they are very low at the back of the waistband. If you look at the images Iβve included, the waistband is perpendicular to the outseam and has no rise at the back to allow for oneβs rear end. It might work for someone with a fairly balanced front and back lower torso. These jeans almost felt backwards to me.The distance from the inseam to the middle of the rear of the waistband (the bum crack of the pants) is 4-5β shorter than in the original pants. Thatβll show off plenty of tattoo. (Or a lacy whale tail) Sadly I do not have any ink, nor do I wear lacy thongs. Also I am a part time wheelchair user. Nobody wants to see my plumberβs bum rolling by. These are not designed for sitting.The corresponding front seam is the same length as the original jeans β there is simply less space for the person inside these pants than in the original.For reference, I wear my pants up at my navel and I have short legs in proportion to my torso. These are nowhere near petite length unless you use your bra as a belt, and even then, where will you put your β¦ umβ¦ well, suffice to say these are not petite length jeans.Iβm crushed. I thought I was going to be able to restock on my favorite jeans. Chic has abandoned me and my tush.But it looks like the front pockets are deeper, so thereβs that.

They fit funny
I have an old pair of Chic elastic waist jeans that came from K-Mart many years ago that I wanted to replace. Got these with high hopes only to be disappointed. The elastic waist is about half the thickness of my old pair making the waistband look as shoet as it is. And the jeans are cut funny. Really tight across the butt & the waist sags down in the back. They might fit someone’s body but they don’t fit mine.

Good fit, too long
Fits well everywhere except too long, especially for what I would call a petite. I’m used to long as I’m only 4’11” but these are longer than usual petite sizes I’ve bought and will need to be hemmed (which I was hoping to avoid having to do). I do like them though and will deal with hemming.

comfort and a good fit at a good price.
I have been wearing these Chic pants for many years and have always been very satisfied with the pants. In fact, I was having difficulty locating my size and seemed to be able o find only petite sizing but was thrilled I found them. My old pans were starting to show wear and I needed new ones. I believe my last pants I wore for 4-5 years and they still were great with the 100% cotton ones but the elastic/cotton ones started to show their wear. I can’t complain as I got a lot of wear from them.

These Fit!
I am short and heavy. Most jeans I can find are too tight around the waist (which I cannot wear due to having had back surgery) or way too long. These fit perfect, stay up without irritating my back and actually do not drag on the floor! Material seems durable and I love that they are all cotton! Will be ordering more.

Too Snug
The material feels more like dress slacks than jeans.They are tight in the legs and hips.I have purchased Chic in the past but these feel like different material.They were on the long side of petite.I usually wear a 24/26. To be comfortable, I’d need a 28.I pulled them off after 5 minutes as they felt uncomfortable.

Comfortable jeans!
I just love these jeans! These jeans are the closest I have ever come to pants fitting me! I have a 26 inch inseam and these jeans are a 27 inch inseam. They are a little too long, but otherwise they fit great! And I don’t mind them sitting just on my shoes – I like the look! The jeans are very comfortable and soft. I have a thick waist but they are not tight at the waist. They wash up well, they don’t shrink and I put them in a hot dryer! I will be ordering another pair of these!

Just what I was looking for.
I am 5’7″ and generally do not wear petite. I purchased a pair of these in regular length and they were way too long. I purchased a petite pair and they were the length I was looking for which is just above the top of where my shoe hits. That being said I wear them tucked in to my farm boots so length was less important than fit. If you are 5’7″ the regular length will need to be hemmed and the petite will be too short if you want it to meet your shoes. I love the material. The denim is the weight of my regular blue jeans. The pockets are nice and deep to put my phone in. I do not typically like a pant that rises to my navel but these are very comfortable and I do not even notice. I am very happy with these pants.

Chic Jeans
I have bought Chic Jeans for years! Since at least 2004, the longest I can remember! Back then, I could buy them from Kmart, but the box stores are disappearing and I have to find other ways to get them!Back then, I all different colors including pink and light blue! Not in fashion anymore I guess! lol But now I have khaki and brown and gray. I have black and denim! Iβll get what I can get!The only downside of Chic Jeans is that I always buy the petite jeans and they are so long that it seems like Iβm 6β tall! Iβm a shrinking in height senior who is now only 5β1β! I used to hem all of my pants myself but Iβm 70 now and Iβm paying someone to hem them now! Gives me a break! But really, Iβve seen other comments about this same issue. They donβt have to be so long in pant length!
