    So disappointing!!

MediPed socks to be a high-quality product. The ones now are cheap imitations. The material is flimsy. The socks leave indentations in the skin (I am not fat), plus long threads hanging off the sock, further indication of being poorly manufactured.I plan on returning them, and will never make another purchase from them again.

    Softy and Stretchy

Bought to wear after ankle surgery. I am wearing an aircast for 6 weeks and wanted something to wear under it that wouldn’t be snug on my incision. These socks are just exactly that, my only wish is that they were a little warmer because it is winter here. These are lighter weight, but soft and stretch easily without binding.

These socks laundered well and are a good value.

    Unhappy

Washed for the 2nd time and there are 2 holes in one of the socks. Theses socks have been washed in a garment bag. I have bought this brand before with no problems at all. Not very happy

    Keeps my feet cool

I wear ankle boots all day. Keeps my feet dry and comfy. Yes, very stretchy but not binding. My feet swell but socks are never tight. I buy new pairs every 2 years. Love this brand.

I’m happy with these socks . They are a bit thinner than I expected but I do like how they feel on.

Great for my little swollen legs

+ Never too tight, not too short in toe area. Nice “crew sock” that doesn’t cut off my circulation as the day progresses. I have them in black too for slacks in winter. Love ’em!

    Soft and comfortable

The size is good but I actually ordered a size larger than my shoe size. If I had ordered one based on my shoe size they would have been smaller than I prefer. They wash well and do not shrink much. I wash in hot water and have a hot dryer. They are soft and comfortable.

    Love these socks!

I have tried other diabetic socks but these are the only ones that aren’t too tight and stay up most of the time! I’ll have to go through my socks and get rid of the socks I hate but keep these! I usually buy a size 10-13 because I have swollen feet and legs!

Soft and does not cut off circulation

Great socks. I would have given a 5 star, but they are not as cushiony as I was hoping they would be. But they are still a great pair of socks.

The top of the sock is too binding on your leg

I’ve purchased many pairs of these socks in the past, and they were perfect. This year when I ordered in the top is very binding on your leg definitely not what they’ve had in the past.😞 they obviously have changed something, and my socks have been returned.

    Good socks

I was confused by the brand name being woven into the socks UNDERNEATH the toes rather than on top. I was worried they were an unbranded knock-off. Nope, just not visible in the photos. They’re a little tighter around the calf than the last pairs I got a few years back, but it’s tolerable. They changed the weave so it’s sturdier, but maybe sturdy shouldn’t have been the goal?

    These are pretty good socks

These are pretty good socks. I am not diabetic but I am fussy about seams that go across my toes and form an uncomfortable lump when I am walking. One thing I didn’t like was the plastic fasteners that go through the socks at two different points. They were so tight, I felt like I was in danger of putting a hole in the socks when I was trying to cut them off. But many different brands of socks put use the same kind of tight fasteners so I won’t take points off for that. I’m a little worried these socks won’t stand up to a lot of washing because the weave is so loose, but I guess that’s a feature not a bug.

Great but falls apart in washing

I loved these socks; the fit, the design, everything. But the quality is lacking. Brand new socks had yarn coming off of them, and after washing even worse.I would ask the manufacturers to create a higher quality item of the same design.

    Comfortable!!

I have a couple autoimmune disorders that lend to swollen ankles and feet, these socks help ease the discomfort and don’t leave weird areas within or above of swelling/irritation.They’re comfortable with or without various types of footwear and don’t look “weird” as some socks seem to. They’ve been holding up very well to wearing at a very physical job and machine washing/drying.

    Sag

They had to have changed the way they make these. They are entirely too loose to where they sag & bunch up under my foot & toes. It’s like after 5 min of walking I’m pulling my socks back up my calf. I won’t buy these again.

not diabetic but love these socks

While I’m not diabetic and am a fairly average weight for my height, the tops of regular socks always leave big, noticeable, painful dents in my legs so I thought I’d give these a shot and am so glad I did. I’ll miss socks with cute patterns or fun colors, sure, but not feeling like my ankles are being choked to death is amazing. They stay up surprisingly well, have a decent amount of cushion to them (they’re not super squishy but they’re not trouser sock thin either), and seem well made. The looser knit does have me concerned that these might snag and tear faster than regular socks but taking some extra care with them is a price I’m willing to pay. Now that I’ve discovered these, I’m never going back to the restrictive misery of regular socks ever again.

    Wonderful

I have been a diabetic for a long time and consider these and the white version to be amazing socks. They do not fall down all the time and do not cut off my circulation. They are incredibly comfortable, and I recommend them to anyone that will listen!

    Comfortable

Although I am not diabetic, I really like these socks. The tops are elastic and do stay up, but do not compress the legs causing deep indentations. They would be a good buy for anyone who has trouble with edema. My only criticism is the toe seam. I find it to be uncomfortable at times, but this can be adjusted. I do not like my toes to be at the very end of the sock. This brand offers a variety of sizes.

    Band is too tight

I decided to order these after reading all the reviews that said they didn’t bind. I have thinner legs & these leave deep marks on my legs. The socks themselves are good quality & fit me well (shoe size 9) They are just the right thickness & no seams at toes. They were longer than I expected. I dont find them comfortable because of the tight band at tops. Waste of money for me

    Love these socks!

I love these socks! They are super soft. They wash and wear very well. And they don’t pinch or bind my feet or ankles. I’m not diabetic, but these are still my favorite brand. I have both crew socks and ankle socks. Love them both.

    Great socks

I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in Nov 2018 and knew I had to take better care of my feet. I’ve been used to wearing flats without any socks or anything else between my feet and the shoes and my feet sweat. With winter I am wearing different shoes and needed good comfortable socks in black and white. These are perfect. The fabric on the sole is thicker than on the top of the foot and I don’t feel like my fat legs are being strangled by the tops of the socks. They’re very comfortable. Have only washed/worn them a few times, but so far they are holding up well.

My calves can finally say AHHHHHH….

Holy cow, have I been suffering from crew socks cutting into my calves! Even after diligent/forceful stretching out my new Bombas before use, I’ve still had to fold them down around my ankles just to tolerate wearing them. I do not have any medical conditions and am not overweight, just cursed with wider calves. I was searching around for “wide calf socks” and stumbled upon “diabetic socks” somehow. Well, I never knew this product existed, but I’m a new convert. Relief! Definitely recommend.

    Soft sock that STAYS UP

I’ve got edema in one leg, These are the only socks that stretch enough to cover my calf, and don’t fall down. I purchased in Nov and worn these every week since then. Washed and dried in warm water, hot dryer and they’ve held up well. I am returning other socks I purchased because they are too tight around my calf, and leave a mark, or they are too loose and when walking, they fall down. I hate that feeling of having to pull up my socks every few hours because they’ve gathered under my feet. These socks are the best!

    Best socks ever!!!

I am not diabetic but I cannot tolerate tight, binding socks. Having a thin, flattish foot makes it very hard to wear most diabetic socks because they are too big, even in the correct size. These socks are totally comfortable, no binding or annoying seams and they fit my size 10 medium woman’s foot just fine, no sliding around or bunching. I think they would fit a fuller foot as well. I’ll definitely order more. Thank you for these socks!!!

    Great Socks!

I buy these for my mother. She has a problem with swelling calves and ankles. These have been the best socks for her. They are not hard to get one, they stay pulled up all day and the elastic is very comfortable. These socks are not tight at all. They allow for her swelling. The socks are also very soft.

These Meds Peds socks are good quality, and very comfortable. I have used this brand for years, and for the money it is the best on the market. This is my opinion, based on my experience. Jackie

They have changed and are now much too tight

This was my third purchase of these socks and while I loved them before, they are now thinner, smaller, and the elastic is WAY tighter. More tight even than typical non-diabetic socks. So disappointed to have to return what was a reliable purchase for me before.

    Thick, not dressy

Maybe I didn’t read the description well enough, but I thought that I could wear these with flats, but they were too thick. I gave them to my husband, and he really likes them!

    Too thick

I don’t think they will bind. But I decided to try a different brand (these). They have a thick foot. Which is great if I’m running. But I’m not intending these for running. I will keep them but they are too thick for my liking.

    Comfortable and reliable

I’ve had four pair of these socks, for probably 10 years (at least), and finally have worn holes in a couple of the heels. I debated darning them, but decided after 10 years, they deserved to be retired, so I looked online to see if this company still existed. I was very happy to see that you had their products available & I bought a new wardrobe of many MediPeds and am totally enjoying them. They’re soft, comfortable and stay up where I put them… you don’t have to be diabetic or have some other kind of medical problem to use these. They’re just very comfortable socks and good quality as demonstrated by the fact that I used my last pairs for 10 years at least . Great quality and great value.

    Poor quality

I’ve bought Medi-ped socks for several years. The last few sets that I have bought have been steadily dropping in quality. The last set has threads pulling out of the toes and are so thin, when I pull them on, I can see right through them. Disappointing because the white ones I bought 6+ years ago are still in great shape but the newer black ones are obviously going to fall apart quickly.

Not really a crew sock. It goes up a little further on the leg than a crew sock would.

    Quality isn’t listed above???

8 months and didn’t wear for 5 months over summer and already 😕 hole in them… if anyone can suggest a quality and affordable mediped lmk. It’s always hit or miss with Amazon. I’m tired of guessing about quality and it being too late to return items. 😒 How do they get away with using the brand Medipeds and then not actually selling the ones you get at the store. I’m assuming store. My mom received a pair for her birthday and they’re awesome. Much better quality. No idea which store. Lol Thanks for reading my rant. 😊 Happy Shopping!

Wide Calves? Give them a Pass.

I’ve bought medipeds for years, specifically because they had no cuff, no hem, no binding – whatever you want to call it – at the top. Yea, they don’t always stay put but they stayed put better than anything else, and dealing with that was better than having a cinch around my ankle or calf. While looking for some new socks this time, I did notice the binding on this pair. I studied the picture and wondered if it was going to be a problem. But HEY, they’re medipeds right? So I added them to my cart.I regret the decision. To be fair, I am obese; I have wide calves. However, that never impeded the fit of my medipeds before. And since I harbor old-school principals about returning items of a personal nature, I haven’t complained or asked for a refund, which I’m sure the seller would grant.I’m just advising some caution. If you have wide calves, you might give this product a pass.

    Love these socks.

If you don’t have super skinny legs and like wearing crew socks, these are perfect. I used to have to put up with deep indentions in my legs from my athletic socks. I ended up trying diabetic socks as they were the only ones I could find that were stretchy, but still stayed up. I have been buying MedPed socks for over 5 years. There have been reviews saying that new purchases are thin and wear out fast. I have not had that experience. They are well made, stretchy, and have good cushion. Purchased one pack to be sure and have reordered 2 more packs. Highly recommend these!

I would like to offer a suggestion to the maker of these …

I bought these because I can no longer wear regular women’s socks. I first started wearing Dr. Scholls’ Diabetic Socks about 9 years ago. I wasn’t diabetic but I have another medical condition that makes it necessary that I wear specialized socks. Anyway, I started wearing diabetic socks because the hospital vascular surgeon ordered me to stop wearing cheap socks that leave an impression on my skin. So I started buying my specialized socks from Walmart. I would like to offer a suggestion to the maker of these socks. Could you make them a bit larger and a bit more elastic? I’d really appreciate these kinds of modifications. Also could you please place a nice pretty ribbon on 4 pack of socks instead of that little white piece of plastic you and all other retailers use. These socks are very, very soft and I will purchase more from Amazon if you could make the necessary modifications. Thank you.
